Today we had a go at 'Observational drawing'.
We learnt that when we do an observational drawing we have to look very carefully at all of the objects details and size and draw what we can see.
Because it's almost Spring we thought we could draw some beautiful Spring Flowers.
We drew some tulips and then carefully painted them with water colours.
What do you think?

Look at our Fabulous Arks!!!
With all the rain we had before half term we decided to build some 'junk arks'!
We came up with some brilliant ideas!
Our arks had soft beds, steering wheels, animal food holders,
safety rafts, zip wires and many other unique features.
You could try and make your own junk ark at home!

All Aboard!
We have loved learning about the story of Noahs Ark this week - and we are glad to see that the weather has co-operated and produced the perfect rainy climate for the story!
You can listen and watch the story at home by clicking below!

We had great fun in PE after listening to the story!
We all went into the hall and had to get our rafts (With all the bean bag animals on) as well as 12/13 children from one side of the hall to the other.
We had to make sure that nobody stepped in the sea (touched the floor).
We had to work together as a team, which meant talking to each other and looking and listening to our friends.
We are glad to say both rafts made it across with no casualties!!!

We are going to carry on our topic of 'Noah' next week. We will all be writing a postcard on Monday to let you at home know what we are up to on our Ark!
If you have any postcards at home it would be great if they can come in to school so we can see what kind of things are written on a post card!
