A Fabulous Farm Visit!!!

Thank you so much to all the parents who helped and those who offered to help for our farm visit.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at Park Hall Farm, we have seen and done so much!
The children were very well behaved and because of this we managed to get around and experience many activities.

walked shire horses

groomed a pony

stroked some rabbits

bottle fed some lambs

milked a cow

watched some pigs have a race
We even squeezed some play inbetween - What a great day!

All of the parents that have volunteered support we'll be grateful for all of your support. We like to have a good ratio of adults to children!

Look at our natural art...

This week we have been making some new Elmer stories! We have had some fantastic ideas of new settings and new characters.
We have also looked at some work by Andy Goldsworthy. He is a famous artist who likes to use natural materials to form his art work.
We decided to make a picture on an Elmer Elephant using natural materials just like Goldsworthy did.
What do you think?

Can you think of some other animals that live in the Jungle that we can make a 'natural art' picture of?
